
SITUATION
Chula Vista Resort embarked upon the largest expansion in Wisconsin Dells history. Improvements included 166 new condominiums, an 80,000 square foot indoor waterpark, an expanded outdoor waterpark, a vastly enhanced 18-hole golf course and a top-of-the-line steakhouse – the Kaminski Bros. Chop House. Chula Vista is the only complete destination resort in the Wisconsin Dells area, also offering a full-service spa, Wisconsin River frontage, access to the Wisconsin Dells Riverwalk, and large convention facilities. It is truly a one-of-a-kind resort experience.
GOALS & OBJECTIVES
- Brand Chula Vista as the complete Wisconsin Dells resort experience
- Increase the number of inquiries for condominium sales and vacation stays
IMPLEMENTATION
Boelter + Lincoln initiated a multi-level campaign in markets including Chicago, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Milwaukee, Madison and Green Bay-Appleton. Media included travelmercials, video-on-demand, cable, broadcast, newspaper interactive, bartered radio flights, and special promotions.
RESULTS
- More than 10,000 travelmercial and VOD views during June/July
- Inquiries increased by more than 100% and 166 condominiums sold out
