Kristin Demet – Account Coordinator

Kristin is picky. And while this may translate into her having the diet of a 6-year old, it also makes her an incredibly detail-oriented account coordinator. She is a traveller, a tailgater, a Katy Perry fan, and a 10-year veteran of the flute. She vows to eat more than just popcorn one day.

Behind the music…
Kristin once shared an elevator with Kanye West.

Email Kristin

Vanessa LaCoste – Business Development Manager

Like Johnny Cash, Vanessa has been everywhere, man. She’s been to Hong Kong, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, and London. Also like Johnny Cash, she’s a musician (she plays classical piano). Not like Johnny Cash, she’s a bar-league kickball ace.

By the Way…
Vanessa studied Forensic Science in college (ask her how to dispose of a dead body)

Email Vanessa

Katie Klein Murphy – Social Media Strategist

Among Katie’s primary hobbies, she lists “stilettos.” Although we’re not sure what this means, everyone up to this point has been too afraid to ask. She also likes sports, yoga, live music, and skydiving. For safety’s sake we hope none of these involve stilettos.

Did you know?

Katie has 8 tattoos (for now)

Email Katie K

Mike Shank – Interactive Manager

As the son of a TV commercial producer, Mike began his career in advertising early. Picture a boyhood version of him in a leprechaun outfit hawking appliances and you get the idea. Now that the leprechaun has grown up he’s become an expert web designer and a killer DJ.

Behind the music…

Mike can solve a Rubik’s Cube in 1 minute, 30 seconds.

Email Mike

Millie Bley – Assistant Web Designer

Millie smiles a lot. A LOT. This is likely an evolutionary adaptation developed to compensate for her quiet nature. For 3 months most people didn’t even know she worked here, until someone asked “how are all of these projects getting done so fast?” Millie just smiled.

By the way…

Millie will crush you in World of Warcraft.

Email Millie

Stasha Wuest – Account Executive

Stasha knows the power of advertising. She cites her brand loyalty to Miller Lite as an example. You’re most likely to find her exercising that loyalty while playing softball (she’s an ace pitcher), cooking dinner, or just relaxing in front of the TV. She’s also a big-time runner, but Miller Lite is usually not involved.

Factoid…

Stasha has a two-pack-a-day gum habit.

Email Stasha

Liz Taft – Project Manager

Liz is like “human concentrate.” How that much energy and ferocity can fit into such a small person is confounding. She digs traveling, reading, crafting, skiing, and scrapbooking, and there’s no doubt she could do all of these in one day, given her mind-bending organizational skills.

Factoid…

Liz is a world-class baton twirler with multiple participation trophies to prove it.

Email Liz

Danielle Fuentes – Assistant Account Executive

Nothing is ever a problem for Danielle. Ridiculous deadlines, difficult tasks, waking up on a random boat after a night of partying – “Fountains” takes it all in stride. And when she’s not making the best of a bad situation, you can find her making the best of a great situation, like attending festivals, shopping, or re-watching Forrest Gump.

Did you know?

Danielle can sing “Old McDonald” in Japanese.

Email Danielle

Pete Piotrowski – Account Coordinator

Pete, Big Pete, Petey, or Bieber as he is variously known at B+L spends his time at the agency good-naturedly fending off jokes at his expense and doing literally anything he is asked to do around here. He is a sports fan, a good sport, and a helluva nice guy. The ladies also think he’s pretty cute (despite his weak facial follicles).

Behind the music…

Pete has memorized Pi to, like, 30-some decimal points.

Email Pete

Shannon Novotny – Account Supervisor

novotny

By nature or by force, Shannon has developed wizard-like skills in the art of multi-tasking. She is a cook, a hiker and an avid reader. She is also the mother of two small children, making multi-tasking a mandatory if she is to enjoy any of the previously mentioned hobbies.

Did you know?

Shannon is currently 1-0 lifetime in fist-fights.
(She offers no further details on the subject)

Email Shannon

Ben Galtiger – Logisitics

galtiger

We ran into Ben one day at a company cookout and after feeding him all the remaining brats he refused to leave us alone. He enjoys red meat, conceptual art, and reruns of T.J. Hooker. A hard worker with an eye for detail, Ben would be an asset to any company. Just don’t put him in charge of party decoration – don’t ask.

Factoid:
Ben has eaten three four former B+L employees.

Tracey Carson – VP Director of Business Development

Chris Columbus, Marco Polo, Tracey Carson. Three of the greatest explorers of all time. Tracey’s adventures have taken her to Tunisia, Greece, East Africa and Egypt. All by foot. Not really, but still impressive.

By the way…
Tracey once ran a school of equitation.

Email Tracey

Garth Cramer – Associate Creative Director

Garth will do just about anything if it will make for a good story. He is a fisherman, musician, classic movie buff, and an amateur beer historian. He would wrestle a caribou to see Zeppelin live in ’72.

Factoid…
Garth has never been defeated in the Sit and Reach test.

Email Garth

Wendy Appelbaum – Director of Financial Services

appelbaum_2

Don’t be fooled by her quiet exterior, Wendy has spent time in prison. Seriously, she once toured Alcatraz Island and got to spend a couple minutes in a cell. In Wendy’s estimation, the two things that rank below Jail are Lawrence Welk and Hee Haw (childhood trauma). Better than prison are golf, scrapbooking, friends, and her kids.

Behind the Music…
While working at a drive-in, Wendy once served the dad from “Land of the Lost.”

Email Wendy

Steve Roneid – Accounting Manager

Legend has it that Steve actually learned to read from the sports section. No wonder his favorite activity is attending sporting events, and his major pet peeve is people who are obnoxious at sporting events.
This also explains the giant foam finger he wears 24/7.

DID YOU KNOW?
Steve once weighed 100lbs more than he does now.

Email Steve

Michael Stodola – Creative Director

Michael is laid-back, despite his numerous hobbies – scuba diving, rehabbing houses and furniture making, just to name a few. He’s at his laid-back best when sipping ice water in a hot bath. Picture it. You know you want to.

DID YOU KNOW?
Michael watched Kung Fu Panda three times last weekend.

Email Michael

Lisa Huebner – Media Director

Lisa enjoys watching guilty-pleasure TV,  reading with a glass of wine, visiting beachside resorts – anything that might have a smooth sax as background music. She also likes hanging out with her family, in which case a sax would just seem creepy.

DID YOU KNOW?
Lisa waited outside Sarah Jessica Parker’s trailer for an hour, but never met her.

Email Lisa

Katie Vieau – Graphic Production Artist

KatieVieau

Katie’s constant singing and her background in dance are a testament to her artistic nature. We’re not sure what her love of Kelly Clarkson is a testament to. She also enjoys camping. And beer.

DID YOU KNOW?
Old nickname:
Katie Katie the cleaning lady.

Email Katie

Julie Wagner – Media Supervisor

Julie is quite traditional. Her traditions include swearing a lot, taking a snowmobile trip with friends each year and going for fish fry. She’s also adventurous, though – it’s her goal to visit every Wisconsin State Park before she dies.

DID YOU KNOW?
Julie wants to be a farmer someday.

Email Julie

Jill Brzeski – President CEO

Jill is a soccer-mom to beat all soccer-moms. Two kids, six sports, six months spent in a gym cheering. Now that takes  dedication – and patience. In the off-season she enjoys out-driving her friends and family on the golf course.

DID YOU KNOW?
Jill likes Springsteen and microbrews.

Email Jill

Dawn Agacki – VP Chief Operating Officer

Dawn loves wittiness, but doesn’t take crap from anybody. Unless by crap you mean junk metal, which she takes and turns into cool stuff. She’s inked like mad, too – the whole left arm is soon to be covered.

DID YOU KNOW?
Dawn is in the process of welding together a little girl…she misses her daughter
in San Diego!

Email Dawn

Brian Stefanik – Art Director

stefanik_new

Brian’s biggest fear is looking stupid, so don’t ever ask him to order food with a ridiculous name (you listenin’ IHOP?). If you don’t want him to feel stupid, ask him about classic films, tennis, or one of his zillion vinyl records.

Factoid…
Brian spent over a month getting rabies vaccinations after trying to feed baby raccoons in the park. He now has the power of both a man and a baby raccoon.

Email Brian

Andy Larsen – VP of Public Relations

Andy claims to be a mild-mannered guy  who spends weekends cheering on his favorite teams and enjoying time with his family. The back-story gets a bit suspicious, though – his real name is Henry and he used to be nicknamed “Malibu.”

DID YOU KNOW?
Andy met Ozzy Osbourne in the Green Room of the David Letterman Show.

Email Andy

Andrew Kazlauskas – Chief Editor

Simply put, Andrew really enjoys life. Particularly his life, which is filled with freestyle rollerblading, filmmaking and David Bowie, among other things. He also takes the occasional Winnebago trip – functioning brakes optional.

DID YOU KNOW?
Andrew was once district manager of a junk removal service called ”Junk Squad.”

Email Andrew
